Why Do I Need an AAU Membership?

All Utah Mojo players are required to have a current AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) membership in order to participate in any club activities — including clinics, camps, and competitive play.

This membership:

  • Provides liability and accident insurance during practices and tournaments

  • Is required for participation in most sanctioned events

  • Helps ensure all athletes are part of a nationally recognized youth sports organization

Even if you’ve had an AAU membership in the past, you must renew it annually.

For the 2026-2027 season, all players must have an AAU membership active through July 31, 2027, to ensure eligibility for potential summer tournaments.

How to Get Your AAU Membership (Step-by-Step)

  1. Visit https://play.aausports.org

  2. Click on “Get a Membership”

  3. Select Youth Athlete Membership

  4. Choose your sport: Volleyball

  5. Select your coverage level:

    • Regular Membership is sufficient for most players

  6. Enter your athlete’s information

  7. When prompted for a Club Code, enter: (Coming soon)
    (This links your athlete to Utah Mojo Volleyball)

  8. Select a membership term that covers through July 31, 2026

  9. Complete payment (membership is typically around $20)

  10. Save or print your AAU membership card — you'll need to bring it to tryouts or upload it later.
